We recommend that cowl plugs be used when preheating to help hold heat in the engine compartment. They are also useful for keeping birds out. A nest inside the cowling could result in a fire or overheating of the engine. These plugs use better materials than other brands that use canvas and vinyl, so they will withstand the weather longer. You will be using them long after the competition’s wear out.
